Welcome David Simpson

David Simpson has 40 years of pastoral experience. Assisting people to grow spiritually and live out their faith is a big part of how he has worked as a pastor in London, ON; Toronto; and Regina. Beginning June 1, 2022, David will continue this mission as Associate Pastor at Parliament Community Church in Regina.

David has earned degrees from Tyndale College (Toronto), Trinity Evangelical School (Chicago) and

Carey Theological College (Vancouver).

Part of David’s pastoral career has also included teaching in the Church Ministries Department at Providence College (MB) and Briercrest College (SK).

A year ago, David retired as the Senior Pastor at Westhill Park Baptist Church (Regina) after 22 years.

David is originally from Toronto, while Linda, his wife, is from a farming background near Yorkton. Ebenezer, to be more precise. She is the youngest of six kids. Linda has worked in the accounting field with Morris Industries (Yorkton), PwC (Toronto), University of Regina, and currently heads the Finance Office of Regina Christian School.

Linda and David met 35 years ago at Providence College in Winnipeg. Their three adult children are all married and living in Regina. They have one preschool-aged granddaughter.

David and Linda live in the Harbour Landing area of the city.
