"Supporting SKMB Churches and Camps in making disciples."

Ignite Prayer Canada

This November, the MB Churches of Canada, and by extension, SKMB, became an official sponsor of Ignite Prayer Canada!

Ignite Prayer Canada envisions 1,000 churches across Canada cultivating vibrant cultures of Kingdom prayer. The organization claims that every church has the potential to be a presence-centered house of prayer.

“Our passion is to equip and empower church leaders and churches in cultivating a culture of Kingdom prayer that aligns with God’s heart and purposes.  Prayer isn’t a religious ritual, duty, or agenda item; it’s a powerful and transformative practice of communication and communion with God that activates his Kingdom mission on earth”

Ignite Prayer Canada offers practical resources on how to establish a prayer ministry, how to create a prayer strategy, and how to engage your church in prayer.  Connections to networks, stories, events and like-minded individuals to find inspiration and support are also provided.

I encourage all members of the SKMB family to consider connecting with the mission and using the resources of Ignite Prayer Canada to further empower the gospel work in your specific setting.

Week of Prayer

The National Ministry Team invites you to participate in a week of prayer with our national MB family on January 5-11, 2025. We will be holding online prayer meetings each day, led by a member of our National Ministry Team. The theme of the week is Pray First. Pray Always. We will be leaning into the topics of unity and mission: as we unify ourselves as God’s people, we can do a better job on mission, representing the vision and values of Jesus our leader.

Join us as we start 2025 off by praying first and praying always together as a family!
