2019 Equip Study Conference

EQUIP Study Conference 2019
Interpreting Scripture Today

October 23, 3:00pm – October 25, 12:00pm

The Bible is an ancient book that claims divine authority on lives of humanity today. To live humbly under the authority of Scripture necessitates a clear understanding of intended meaning as well as an ability to transfer that meaning to the current context.

The national Faith & Life board invites you to join your MB community to study and be equipped together to effectively bring the transforming message of God’s word to the world around us.

CCMBC Annual General Meeting

October 23, 9:00am-12:30pm

Each Member Church shall be entitled to be represented at any convention by delegates. The maximum number of delegates is one (1) pastoral delegate per church and one (1) other delegate for every twenty-five (25) members or fraction thereof of that Member Church. Each delegate must be:

1. 18 years of age or older.
2. A member in good standing.
3. Approved as a delegate by their church.

The Annual General Meeting on October 23 is free, however, we require an RSVP from those who attend this meeting. Please select both an EQUIP Study Conference ticket and an Annual General Meeting RSVP from the ticket list below if you plan to attend both.

Please note that attendees are responsible for their own lunch arrangements on October 23 between the Annual General Meeting (ending at 12:30pm) and Study Conference (beginning at 3:00pm).

Young leaders: we want to hear from you at EQUIP! If you are under 25-years-old and a student in high school, college, university, seminary, or leadership development program (such as TREK), or an intern at an MB church, please register by contacting events@mbchurches.ca to receive the young leader rate.
