"Supporting SKMB Churches and Camps in making disciples."

Welcome to SKMB - James Penner

James Penner has been asked to serve as a volunteer Pastoral Associate with the SKMB.  He will come alongside our Director of Ministry (Philip Gunther) as a counsellor and also a pastoral support to our churches and camps.  James will be open to preaching and teaching in SKMB churches as capacity allows.  James has served as lead pastor in three different churches in two denominations. In those fifteen years of ministry he was loved and appreciated for his powerfully prophetic biblical preaching and teaching. He has been called and gifted by the Spirit to inspire the church towards obedience, to ethical and moral holiness and to live God’s unrelenting call to repentance. He was born and raised in B.C. where he lived for forty-three years until God called him to Saskatoon. He is a survivor of mental illness and offers a powerful testimony to the grace and faithfulness of God in the midst of the darkness and confusion of depression, burnout and anxiety.

Penner’s role with the SKMB:
