Rev. Philip A. Gunther - Director of Ministry

Gunther began his role as Director of Ministry October 2016.  He has served in a lead pastor role for 25 years and participated in SKMB governance ministry as Executive Secretary, Assistant Moderator and Moderator.  Gunther is a graduate of University of the Fraser Valley, Columbia Bible College, Trinity Western University, Eastern Mennonite Seminary and Canadian Theological Seminary.

Heather Filazek - Website and Communique Administrator

Heather began her role with SKMB September 2017.  She assists with keeping the SKMB website up to date, updating church and leadership e-mail addresses and sending out the bi-monthly newsletter.

Heed the Warnings!

Today, I am pondering wisdom. It is said that wisdom is avoiding life’s pitfalls and reaping God’s blessings. I like that definition. I resonate with it. Conversely, foolishness is failing to heed warnings about pitfalls and thus experiencing the trouble that comes with such wrong-headed decision-making.
