Pastors and Directors Learning Cohort
We’re inviting you to be part of a practical pastoral learning cohort guided by Dr. Stephen Brown, President of Columbia Bible College. This is a unique opportunity for pastors and directors to engage in guided reflection and an interactive learning experience that will help you lead with courage and clarity through seasons of change.
The journey begins with a three-day in-person retreat at Redberry Camp, from September 24 to 26, where mutually supportive relationships will be formed and deep conversations will take place around the theme: “Leading Through Change.” From there, the cohort continues with a mid-year Zoom gathering in winter and culminates in a two-day in-person session in Saskatoon, March 2026, just before the SKMB Assembly.
You’ll join a small group of like-minded pastors and church staff who are navigating shifting congregational landscapes and longing to lead with renewed vision.
Is there an area of your ministry where you would like to see change?
In your leadership skills or effectiveness? Your team? Your church? It doesn’t have to be a big change, just something big for you.
By participating, you will:
Leading Through Transitions
Immerse yourself in the spiritual and emotional journey of leadership, especially during seasons of transition and uncertainty.
Community of Shepherds
Build meaningful peer relationships with other pastoral leaders who understand the challenges and opportunities of ministry today.
Wisdom from a Proven Leader
Learn directly from Dr. Stephen Brown, former head of the Arrow Leadership program and author of several books:
Jesus Centred: Focusing on Jesus in a Distracted World, Leading Me: Eight Practices for a Christian Leader’s Most Important Assignment, and Great Questions for Leading Well.
Tools for Transformational Leadership
Walk away with practical tools and a personalized action plan to bring greater clarity and momentum to your leadership in times of change.
The whole program, including retreat meals, facilitation, and resources, is approximately $300. We trust your church will see this as a strategic investment in your growth and leadership.
We have six spots available, so apply early.
