SKMB Bursaries and Internship Support
Sometimes it’s fun to go “sharesies” when you’re out with a friend—meaning you each chip in to the cost of the food or activity. Our SKMB bursaries and internship support are a way we as a family of churches go “sharesies” with a younger generation of disciples. One might say it’s a small but practical way we demonstrate the New Testament concept of koinonia (“fellowship”)—which often involved the sharing of material resources.
Blessed to have resources as a conference to share, it’s a joy for our Developmental Leadership Team (DLT) to bless young leaders with a bursary to attend college or financial support to do an internship. As we process a growing number of applications, we get to hear stories of disciples eager to grow in their faith and to be equipped for a lifetime of service.
