Discipleship Saskatchewan
For more information please contact: Ryan Epp @ ryane@multiply.net
Saskatchewan Mennonite Brethren have a rich history of discipleship and disciple-making. Our M.B. faith pioneers were compelled to make disciples by their love for God and the Great Commission of Jesus. Our provincial M.B. history gives testimony to discipling followers of Jesus in creative ways. The Saskatchewan Conference of M.B. Churches (SKMB) is seeking to build on this history by responding to a profound need for disciple-ship amongst youth and young adults and really any aged believer! It is with our unique partnership with Multiply that we can actively promote the SOAR, ACTION, TREK and FOCUS mission training programs.
Youth and multigenerational teams from across the prairies will join together in Saskatoon to worship, learn, serve and grow together. Each team is partnered with a ministry that is seeing the life changing power of God at work in people's lives.
Youth and those interested in engaging in cross-cultural mission - together with participants from Horizon College's Global Discipleship Certificate, will join into teams of 4-6 people and serve alongside long-term missionaries and local churches in an international setting. We are all called to be missionaries no matter where our home is, but through ACTION we want to provide an opportunity for you to experience God's heart for another part of the globe. ACTION Sask is hosted in Saskatoon alongside SOAR Sask training and will be the launching point for the international assignment.
Over 8 months you will have a chance to serve alongside mature disciple-makers in different parts of the world. TREKers form a tight-knit community that focuses on Jesus, embracing surrender and risk-taking obedience. Come, encounter Jesus and personal renewal through advocacy, witness, service, and intentional training and equipping.
